When you walk through the garden...

Yesterday in Maryland is snowed like a quarter of an inch. Every school in 100 mile radius was closed and they advised people not to go outside if they didn't have to, it was ridiculous. I had to drive to Pennsylvania to work on a job and they had like 5x the snow and everyone carried on with their lives like it was normal.

In other news I am currently feeding my addiction for the HBO series 'The Wire'. This is the last season and I just caught up, I think their are 4 episodes left and I cant wait. Anyone who has not watched the show needs to, it is the best TV series I have ever watched. I have come to terms with the fact that I have watched 4 seasons in their entirety and 8 episodes of the fifth and this equates to me spending no less that 56 hours of my life watching the wire. Not all that much going on right now but I feel like I need to post. Heres the skinny.

-Im back in Maryland.
-I lost my glasses in California and got a free pair of contacts until my new glasses come in. It takes me around an hour to put them in each day.
-I have developed a fondness for twix bars.
-I have the outdoor bug after being in California in some decent weather and I cant wait until the weather gets nice and I can do some fishing, kayaking etc.
-I am boycotting all 'fair trade' food because it tastes like shit, I feel bad about it Im working on a way to boycott it and still have a clear conscience, but until then Im eating strickly 'unfair trade'.
